Funds raised through the Catholic Services Appeal help the Diocese of Erie fulfill its mission to evangelize, educate, serve, proclaim the word and celebrate the sacraments throughout 13 counties in northwest Pennsylvania. The CSA reminds us that we are all part of the same Catholic family and that the work of the diocese is the work of the church.

Why Be Generous?
God made us for relationship with Him. Despite our constant rebellion, he continually, generously and relentlessly pursues us. God is unsurpassed in His generosity toward us whether we realize it or not. In addition to the daily grace he showers on us, he gave His own Son to die on our behalf so that we may have forgiveness, restored relationship and purpose with Him. As we invite Him to be more deeply rooted in our hearts and lives, God invites us to reflect His generosity to the world.
- We give thankfully, because God is first generous towards us by His grace (Psalm 24:1-6, Rom 5:8)
- We give financially, to rebel against the many temptations of money (Matt 6:24, 25-34).
- We give sacrificially, because God develops our hearts as we do (Matt 25:19-21)
- We give obediently, because we are managers and not owners (Matt 6:19-20).
- We give faithfully, to participate in God’s work in our neighborhoods and around the world (2 Cor 9:6-15).
- We give joyfully, as those to whom much has been given (2 Cor 9:6-15).

Tangible, personal, and intentional. Give with cash on Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings during the offering or enclose in a giving envelope and drop off anytime.
2. Give with Checks

What Is The Parish Endowment?
The Parish Endowment is intended to provide third source funding for our parish activities and services. For as long as our parish exists, the endowment will be on hand to provide additional assistance.
Endowment Balance as of June 30th 2018: $250,000.
Endowment Balance as of June 30th 2019: $311,694.
Endowment Balance as of June 30th 2020: $325,000.
Endowment Balance as of June 30th 2021: $399,000.
Why We Need A Parish Endowment?
As Saint Boniface parish grows and matures, new services and projects occur. The endowment will help defray expenses related to youth ministry, buildings and grounds projects, church furnishings and supplies, as well as supplement the parish’s general fund. Please consider making a donation.
Our Parish Financial Resources
Allowing our Gifts from God to Grow
POF
The Parish Operating Fund is funded by the offertory and special gifts. It is used to pay our monthly bills, cover payroll expenses and other basic maintenance items. Donations received as gifts always remain in the parish for our own use.
CSA
The Catholic Services Appeal fund covers all diocesan services and ministries. We are assessed a certain amount each year to help cover these costs. Pledges to the CSA help us cover these expenses while raising much needed funds for the parish.
ECCSS
The Parish is assessed a large portion of our annual budget to support the work and ministry of the Elk County Catholic School System. This is in addition to what we need for our preschool.
EVERGREEN
The Parish established an endowment to meet the long-term financial needs of the parish as it changes over time. The goal is to have one million in this fund by 2025. The principal will never be touched, but when we need to use the dividends, the parish will have funds to draw from.
SICHERI FUND
The school and church receive an annual dispersement of 7% from the Sicheri Fund held by the Community Foundation. Approximately $30k is used for church operating and $60k for our Saint Boniface Christian Montessori Preschool and its related educational programs.
GOOD SAMARITAN
This fund is used to help our neighbors in need. Donations are always being accepted to help keep this fund going so when there is a need we have the financial resources to help immediately and share the love of Christ with our generosity.
